You’ve just had your vehicle serviced at Classic Chevy – or maybe you sprung for a new vehicle – and that means it’s time for a road trip. If you haven’t been to Hill Country lately, you might want to plan a weekend trip to the area around Bandera.

Between Ingram and Bandera, you can find plenty of sights to see and shopping to do, so plan to leave early in the day so you can do everything.

If you are looking for some leather furniture and some great sculptures, stop by Grand Wows in Ingram. It’s located at 3167 Junction Highway 830.

In the mood for some horseback riding? Plan to stay over at the Dixie Dude Ranch for home-cooked meals and trail rides. The dude ranch is a 725-acre working cattle ranch. You can find more information at dixieduderanch.com.

Looking for designer denim? If it’s time for a new pair of fancy jeans, stop by Schreiner Goods on the downtown mercantile at 214 Earl Garrett Street. While you are checking out the top label jeans and other denim offerings, sip a mimosa.

If you’re getting a bit thirsty after traveling, stop by the 11th Street Cowboy Bar. Be careful not to scare the horses tied at the hitching post. You’ll meet some great people including hipsters, ranch hands and bikers while you listen to live music and suck down a couple of ice cold brewskies. For more information, visit 11thstreetcowboybar.com.

Do you have a taste for seafood? Stop by Francisco’s for the best tilapia ceviche with pico de gallo and other seafood delights. Wash it down with a bottle of cold beer. For more information, visit franciscos-restaurant.com.

Now that you have a brand new pair of jeans, you’re going to want a pearl snap shirt to go with them. You can stock up at Gunslinger Dry Goods. And if you need accessories such as a hand-tooled leather bag, boots, hats and artisan jewelry, be sure you stop by. For more information, visit gunslingerofbandera.com.

If you’re looking for an exciting show, visit the Bandera Rodeo, put on by the Cowboy Capital Rodeo Association. You’ll get to see tons of barrel racing, enjoy a barbecue cook-off and even the kids will have fun with kid activities. Banderarodeo.com will give you a schedule and more information.

Visit Classic Chevrolet

There’s a ton of fun to be had in your new Chevy from Classic Chevrolet – so if you don’t have a new Chevy in the driveway, stop by to test drive a new truck, car or SUV.
