Meet the Chevy Reaper

The Chevy Reaper – Chevrolet’s answer to the Ford Raptor – is going to be available at Classic Chevrolet. The Silverado-based Reaper was announced at the National Automotive Dealers Association in late January 2014. Ken Lingenfelter, a noted tuner who worked with Southern Comfort Automotive, designed the package.

The 2014 Reaper converts an average Silverado by adding a supercharger, giving the Reaper 550 horsepower. That gives the Reaper 139 more horsepower to Ford’s version, the Ford Raptor. Additionally, the Chevrolet Reaper features 20-inch beadlock wheels, a high-clearance bumper, a Fox Racing suspension, an integrated floodlight system and a reinforced skidplate.

Furthermore, the front of the Silverado has been redesigned, plus some graphics across the back have been added. The Chevrolet Reaper is expected to sell for $50,000 and up. Keep your eye on this space for more information about the Reaper conversion kit, which will be available at select Chevy dealers, including Classic Chevy.
