Happy New Year! Yes, it’s 2013 and while you’re making – and breaking – your resolutions, why not make one that you’re sure you can keep? Like picking up that new Chevrolet you’ve always dreamed of from your Chevy dealer!
We know what you’re thinking – the beginning of a new year isn’t the best time to purchase a new car, right? Well not necessarily. While it’s true that you can find good deals at the end of the year, when dealers are clearing out their old models to make way for the newer ones, it’s a fact that there’s no “best” time of the year. Along those lines, however, here’s a look at three great reasons why buying a new car at the start of a new year is a great idea:
- It’s a fun resolution: Let’s face it, most New Year’s resolutions aren’t fun. Go to church more. Eat healthier. Exercise more often. Buying a new car is a resolution that’s fun and enjoyable, especially if you’re due for a little bit of a treat yourself. Why not go out and buy that new Chevy you’ve always wanted but have been so hesitant to pull the trigger on? Now’s the time.
- Start fresh: The new year is a fresh start – a time to forget about the past and focus on the future. The new year can be a welcome relief after a rough previous year. Why not start out the new year on the right foot with a new car? Getting that car you’ve had your eye on all these years will give you a nice boost and something to look forward to all year long – and beyond. Now that’s starting the new year off on the right foot – a new car!
- Tax time: Finally, another reason to go out and get that new car is if you’re expecting a tax refund or haven’t spent the last of that Christmas bonus that’s burning a hole in your pocket. Yes, while the new year is usually about paying off credit card bills (from Christmas, duh!), it’s also a time of year when people find themselves in good monetary situations. So if you’re fortunate enough to be one of the aforementioned people, you finally have the funds to buy that car you’ve always wanted. Why not?
When you think about the new year, you probably don’t immediately think about buying a new car. Even so, the new year might be the best time of year to buy, for a variety of different reasons.
