Chevy Style: New Trax Features for 2017


The newly-introduced Trax features contemporary design elements, premium interior, active safety features, connectivity and a turbocharged engine; and will be available in the fall in three trim levels: the LS, LT and Premier.


The 2017 Chevrolet Trax features a new proportioned dual port grille and headlights that flow around the corners, a sportier look, halogen reflector headlights on the LS trim level and LED signature lighting on the LT and Premier trim levels. The rear features dual taillights, a new fascia and LED signature lighting and 18-inch aluminum wheels on the Premier trim level. Many of these elements are already found on other Chevy models including the Cruze, Malibu and the Volt.

The Interior

The 2017 Trax’s interior features a modified instrument panel in Chevy’s dual cockpit design and a dashboard hood that runs the width of the vehicle without interruptions. This new design allows the diver to better see the 7-inch diagonal MyLink color touch screen. The instrument panel and the console feature Galvano chrome trim. The Premier trim level features an instrument panel with a contrasting color that matches its leatherette seat trim. The Trax also features a new gauge display that features an analog tach and speedo plus digital displays.

Safety Features
